Mrs. Amanda Phillips, daughter of John Ettien, a pioneer of Webster township, died at her home in Hobson, Montana, February 20.
She was born in Jackson township, April 1, 1855. She married John Phillips, a well known Madison county man and moved to Montana in 1884. She is survived by her seven children.
