Services for Mrs. Beulah M. Conn, 78, of 4007 S. W. Ninth st., who died of a stroke Tuesday at the Hutchison Nursing Home, 3815 S. W. Ninth st., will be at 10:30 a. m. Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland, Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Conn, a retired seamstress, was born at St. Charles. She came here 35 years ago from Norwalk.

She was a member of the Christian Church.

Surviving are two sons, Moffett and Maurice of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Gladys Matthewson of Cheyenne, Wyo.; five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Coordinator's note: She is shown as Beulah Teater in the 1895 Madison County Census, living in the John M. Runkle household. She later identified as Beulah Runkle (her stepfather's surname) but her biological father's name was "Teather".
