RUGGLES—Ernest Ruggles, 62, died at a local hospital last night after a month’s illness. He was born near St. Charles, la., and lived at Indianola until a year ago when he came to California.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Elfie Ruggles; three sisters. Mrs. Rosa Riley, Des Moines, la.; Mrs. Eleanor Burke, Long Beach; Miss Ethel Ruggles. a missionary in India; an uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Lee, Olive, and other uncles and aunts in California.

He was a member of the I.O.O.F, lodge and Methodist church of Indianola, where the body will be shipped. Funeral arrangements are In charge of the C. W. Coffey chapel and are incomplete.
