The many friends of John Smull will be sorry to learn of his death, which occurred at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Geo Smith, last Monday. Mr. Smull was formerly a resident of Bevington, but of late years had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Jackson at Kansas City.

John Sinell (sic) died Tuesday of heart disease and dropsy. Funeral services were held Thursday a. m. at the M. E. church, conducted by Rev. Cunningham, after which his remains were placed in the St. Charles cemetery.
