Charles Kegley Dies of Stroke

Charles V. Kegley, 65, of the Northwestern Hotel, died Saturday of a stroke at Iowa Lutheran Hospital after a 4-year illness.

A native of Warren county, Mr. Kegley, formerly a carpenter and contractor, came here from Jefferson 35 years ago.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial in Rock City Cemetery at Winterset.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Nellie Holeman, Des Moines; and three brothers, Lawson and Lloyd Kegley, Minneapolis, Minn.; and Roy Kegley, Des Moines.
