CHARLES CITY—Funeral services will be 10 a.m. today at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, for Mrs. Duncan (Edith) Henderson, 83, of Osage, who died Sunday (Dec. 9, 1984) at the Osage hospital.

Richard Tector, minister of the Jehovah’s Witnesses, will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. today at the Winterset Cemetery in Winterset.

Mrs. Henderson was born Oct. 27, 1901 in Madison County, to M. J. and Rosa (Acheson) Smith. She attended rural schools and graduated from Winterset High School. She married Duncan Henderson on Nov. 21, 1923 in Quincy, Mo., and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses Congregation, Charles City.

Survivors include four sons, Orval, Rudd; Emmet and Loran, both of Hampton, and Glenn, Des Moines; 28 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
