Page 2, Columns 3 & 4Dr. Clifford Walter Harris, 47, Rolfe, Iowa, formerly of Rock Island, died May 4 at Veterans Hospital, Knoxville, Iowa.
Memorial services were held at Southern Baptist Church, Sylmar, Calif. The body was cremated.
Mr. Harris was born in Rolfe, Iowa. He attended schools in Rolfe and Rock Island, and was graduated from Rock Island High School in 1950. He joined the National Guard in 1950 and spent 1½ years in Germany. He later worked for Ozark Air Lines in Moline and later in Davenport.
He married Agnes Collett in April 1955 in Rolfe. He later attended Palmer College of Chiropractics in Davenport and was graduated in March 1962. He then practiced in Fort Dodge, Iowa, and later opened his chiropractic office in Rolfe.
Survivors include his widow; his father Walter H. Harris, Rock Island; his mother, Violet B. Bury, Sylmar, Calif.; his step-father, Arvin Bury, Sylmar, and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Viether, Sepulveda, Calif.
