Hazel Fort, 65, Services Friday

Services for a former Des Moines resident, Mrs. Hazel M. Fort, 65, of Ottumwa, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Dahlstrom Funeral home, with burial in the cemetery at Patterson. Mrs. Fort died of a heart attack Tuesday while vacationing in Bemidji, Minn.

Born in Coleridge, Neb., she had lived in Des Moines 36 years before moving to Ottumwa a year ago. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glen A. Ware of Ottumwa; two sons, Bill of Mountain View, Cal., and Darrell K. of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Merryman of Des Moines; a brother, Mallie P. Martin of Sioux City, and three grandchildren.
