Rites Saturday for Lena Yeo, 69
Services for Mrs. Lena May Yeo, 69, of 953 ½ Sixth Ave., will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jefferson cemetery, south of Booneville in Madison county.
Mrs. Yeo died of cancer Thursday at Broadlawns General hospital following a 14-month illness.
A native of Washington county, Kan., Mrs. Yeo had lived in Des Moines 35 years. She was a member of Midtown Christian Alliance church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Fern Healy; a brother, Frank White, both of Des Moines; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
