Karl Maxon Dies of Heart Ailment

Services for Karl E. Maxon, 79, of 1409 Clark St., will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Dunn’s Funeral Home on Grand avenue. Burial will be at Winterset.

Mr. Maxon, a retired advertising salesman, died Thursday of a heart ailment at the Bishop Drumm Home. He was born in Des Moines and had lived here the last five years.

The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Anita, of Los Angeles, Calif.; a son, William K., of Chicago, Ill.; a brother, Edward, of Des Moines; and a grandson.
