Richard Leeper age 94 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at the Carlisle Long Term Care Center. A memorial funeral service for Richard will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the Carlisle Christian Church. A visitation will begin at 10:00 AM prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow in Avon Cemetery. A luncheon will be served following the interment.

Those left to cherish his life are his 2 sisters, Irene (Royal) Hedgecock of Des Moines and Ruby Robinson of Winterset; 2 daughters, Deborah (Luis) Leeper Moreno of Merida, Mexico and Dixie (Doug) Griffith of Des Moines; and his grandchildren, Ricardo, Jenny, Andres Moreno, Matthew Griffith and Luke Griffith.
