Death Claims Miss Brazill

Long-Time Iowa Resident Victim of Stroke

Miss Anna Martha Brazill, 78, of 611 Laurel St., died early Saturday at her home, following a stroke. She was a niece of the late Father Brazill, an early day resident pastor of Des Moines.

Miss Brazill was born in Bellaire, Ohio, in 1872. She came to Webster county, Ia., in 1870, moving to Madison county in 1872. She came to Des Moines in 1925.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mary Donnelly, Des Moines, and five nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose cathedral with burial in St. Patrick’s cemetery.
