Ora Hamner, son of Etna and Louise Hamner, was born July 24, 1891, at Winterset and died August 22 at Wheaton, Minnesota.
From Winterset he moved to Macksburg and then to Creston in 1914. He was a member of the Methodist church, the Rebekah lodge and the Odd Fellows lodges of Creston.
Surviving are three brothers, Max, Floyd, and Stanley, all of Creston, two sisters, Mrs. Waler Smith and Mrs. Roy Bertholf of Benson, Minnesota.
