Brian Lee Watkins

Brian Lee Watkins, son of William Donald Watkins and Irma Lee (Sharp) Watkins was born June 21, 1967 in Osceola, Iowa and passed from this life Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska at 53 years of age.

Brian grew up in Winterset and Osceola. He graduated from Clarke Community High School. Brian has lived in Indianola, Winterset, Creston and Osceola. He was employed at Bunn in Creston before health required him to stop working.

Brian was a kind and caring person. He was always willing to help when anyone asked. Brian loved spending time with his friend, Laurie and enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. He was a comedian, always the jokester, he loved to make people laugh. Brian enjoyed working on cars when he could find the time. He will be greatly missed.

Those relatives who preceded Brian in death were his father, William Watkins, and, sister, Roxanne Stevenson.

Brian leaves to cherish his memory, friend, Laurie Johnson of Afton, IA; daughter, Amber (Steven) Blackwood of Osceola, IA, son, Dylan Watkins of Virginia, grandchildren, Khloe and Makayla, mother, Irma Watkins of Osceola, IA, brother, Willam (Cathy) Watkins, Jr. of Norwalk, IA, sister, Beverly Vance of Winterset, IA, brother, Dale (Julie Holiday) Watkins of Osceola, IA, several nieces and nephews, as other relatives and many friends.
