Page 4, Column 4Velma Lorraine Kuhl, daughter of Charles and Alice Kuhl, was born north of Earlham, Iowa, July 12, 1920, and departed this life Jan. 23, 1925, at their home in Kennedy, Iowa, after a few hours sickness, being the after effects of flu, having been spared to gladden this home but a little more than four years. She was a member of the Cradle Roll Class in the Sunday school, which class she loved to attend.
She leaves to mourn her loss her father and mother, three brothers, Millard, Carroll and Harrold, and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kuhl of Adel, and grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth Mateson of Wichita, Kan., besides other relatives and friends.
The funeral was held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at the Panther Creek U.B. church with Rev. Mintle in charge, assisted by Rev. H. L. Royer of the Panther Creek Church of the Brethren. Burial was at Earlham, Iowa.
