Deaths

Alice Violet Iiams, 77, of 1802 J St. SW, wife of the late Henry Iiams, a resident of Cedar Rapids for last seven years after coming from Peru, Iowa, died Thursday at a local hospital following a sudden illness.

Alice V. Muck was born Sept. 17, 1900, at Bussey, Iowa. She was married to Mr. Iiam on March 25, 1919, at Winterset. Mr. Iiam died in 1976. She was a member of the Bethany Congregational Church.

She is survived by two sons, Russell of Cedar Rapids and Vern of Waterloo; three daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Crenshaw of Cromwell, Iowa, Mrs. Doris Waddell of Ankeny, and Mrs. Mary Kalianoff of Des Moines; 29 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Muck of Colfax; and one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Redding of Kellogg.

Services are pending at the Collins Funeral Home at Winterset, Iowa. Turner Chapel West was in charge of local arrangements.
