Christian Burial Services for Randall Penn Ingram, 71, who passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020, will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2020, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola. A public visitation, under CDC guidelines will be held one hour prior to services. You may join family on our Website Live Stream for the funeral service beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will take place in the St. Charles Cemetery following services. The committal service will be posted following the service.

Randy was born June 5, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa and raised in St. Charles, Iowa. He graduated from Interstate 35 High School in St. Charles and went on to serve over 13 years in the US Air Force as an air traffic control technician, earning several service awards throughout his military career.

He had an insatiable appetite for learning which led to a variety of interests including rebuilding classic cars, computer repair, and on-line investing. He was always happy to share his knowledge with anyone who asked.

Randy is known for his love of family, poodles, sharp wit and quick humor. He was also partial to sweet treats (particularly doughnuts). He was happiest when he was surrounded by those he loved, eating good food, and making others smile. He was the calm in a storm and had an uncanny ability to take all of life’s challenges in stride, stating matter-of-factly “It is what it is.”

Randall is survived by his wife, Bonnie; children, Corina Ingram; Kimberly (Scott) Cambre; step-children Teresa (Peter) St. John, Jake (Clare) Preus, Kandi Slominski; 11 grandchildren including, Devon, Blake, Jackson; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Sheryl Barnes; step-mother, Laura Ingram. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Irma Ingram.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to K-9s for Warriors.
