Mrs. Mary Montgomery, aged resident of Hanley, died Friday last and was buried at New Virginia, her old home, on Sunday. The funeral was held in the Methodist church Sunday in New Virginia.
Mrs. Montgomery was 81 years old and died on her birthday. She was the mother of ten children, five of them now living. She made her home with her son, S. A. Montgomery. Her oldest son, Fred Montgomery, rural carrier on a Winterset route, attended the funeral.
