MRS. FRED TRAVIS DIES IN HOSPITAL

Mrs. Fred Travis, a resident of Peru for the past 15 years, died Sunday evening in the Winterset hospital following an illness of several weeks.

She is survived by her husband of Peru; one daughter, Mrs. Bertha Schaff; her parents, two step-daughters, three step-sons, several grandchildren and many friends and relatives. One daughter died a number of years ago.

MRS. FRED TRAVIS OF PERU PASSED SUNDAY

Peru-(Special)-Mrs. Fred Travis, a well known farm woman of this community, died at the Winterset hospital Sunday. She was 52 years of age.

Mrs. Travis is survived by her husband and several children and step-children.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Methodist church in Peru, in charge of the pastor, the Rev. J. H. Machlan. Burial was in the Peru cemetery.

Peru Happenings

Mrs. Fred Travis who has been ill the past few weeks at her home and in the Winterset hospital, passed away Sunday.

The funeral was held at the Travis home Tuesday afternoon with Rev. Machlan in charge of the services.
