MRS. MYRTELLA FIELD

Stuart, Sept. 16. – Mrs. Myrtella Field, 70, died at 4:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at her residence, 80 Third street, following a heart attack caused by acute indigestion.

Mrs. Field had made her home here for the past two years, coming here from Allen, Mich., her birth-place. She is survived by her daughter, Miss Leora G. Field, executive Red Cross secretary here. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Miss Field will accompany the body of her mother to Quincy, Mich., for burial. The John's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Coordinator's note: Per her husband's (Fenner Field) obituary, the deceased lived in Winterset for about 8 years starting 1886. Daughter Leora's birth was recorded in the Madisonian in 1887. Her maiden name is taken from her husband's obituary.
