NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS - St. Charles

H. E. Banta received word the first of last week of the death of his step sister, Mrs. Lillie Reed Bartlett and her daughter, of Iola, Kansas, from smallpox.

Mrs. Bartlett will be remembered here as Miss Lillie Reed, daughter of Sam Reed, who formerly lived where Truman Johnston now lives.
