WM. LANDERS IS DEAD.

Native of Indiana, Who Has Lived in This City Since 1902, Dies at Age of 66 – Burial at City View.

William Landers, of this city, passed away at his home on East Fourteenth street, yesterday, December 22, at the age of 66 years, 3 months and 5 days. He was a native of Indiana, but moved to Iowa in his early life where he lived till his coming to Oregon in 1902, where he has since made his residence.

He had been ill for some months and his death was not unexpected, but nevertheless, brought grief and sadness to those who were so near and dear to him.

He leaves a wife, one son, and one daughter to mourn his loss. The daughter, Mrs. Clearwater, lives on Statesman street, this city, and the son, H. A. Landers, lives in Everett, Washington.

The remains were laid to rest in City View cemetery. Elder D. Errett of the First Christian church conducted the funeral services.

Death of Wm. Landers.

Wm. Landers, an old-time resident of this county, died December 21st, at Salem, Oregon, at the age of 66 years.

He is survived by his wife, one son, H. A. Landers, of Everett, Washington, and one daughter, Mrs. A. L. Clearwater, of Salem, Oregon.
