Bliss – In this city February 1, Elizabeth Landers Bliss, late resident of 735 Ferry street, age 99 years. Grandmother of Dr. Glenn W. Landers of Shelton, Wash., Mrs. Vera Smyth of Farragut, Idaho, Mrs. Ethel Purkey of Tacoma. Wash., O. R. Clearwater, Garnett Clearwater and Blanche H. Wilson, all of Salem; also surviving are eight great grandchildren: a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Tima Landers of Tacoma; one half-sister, Mrs. Selby Campbell of Winterset, Iowa. and a step-daughter, Cora Kuneman of Tacoma.

Services will be held Friday, February 4, at 1:30 p.m. in the W. T. Rigdon company chapel with concluding services at City View cemetery. Rev. Dudley Strain will officiate. Ritualistic services will be under, auspices of Women's Relief Corps, Sedgwick corps No. 1.
