Death of Mrs. Johnson

Mrs. Johnson, formerly Mrs. James Early, and many years a resident of Madison county, died early last week at Long Beach, California. Burial was made in Long Beach.

Mrs. Early is survived by her three daughters, Nora, Bertha and Lena, all of whom live in the west. The Early family was prominent in the pioneer days of the county. Mr. and Mrs. Early lived in the east part of Winterset in the George Hampton house, occupied in late years by the Sackett family.
