Amanda Webb was born in Van Buren county, Iowa, April 11, 1867, and died August 5, 1927 at 6 p.m., aged 59 years, 3 months and 26 days. She was united in marriage to Newton Trester September 25, 1883. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1923.
To this union were born six children, Mrs. James Campbell, Boise and Chester, of Winterset; Mrs. Leo Miller, of Des Moines; Mrs. Esther Benson, who passed away in 1921, and one son who died in infancy. She also leaves to mourn, her mother, Mrs. J. H. Heidbreeder; one sister, Mrs. Ben Clear, of Winterset, and two grandsons, Donald Miller, of Des Moines, and Denton Benson, of Albert Lea, Minnesota.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. F. Clare McCallon from the Tidrick funeral home Sunday afternoon at 2:30.
________________________Transcriber's notes: Her maiden name per her Iowa Death Certificate and her Madison County Marriage Record was "Bennett". The Death Certificate states that she was buried in the Winterset Cemetery. Son Boise should be "Boies".
