Leland K. Benge, 76, of 2506 N. Howell St., Davenport, died Friday at Mercy Hospital. Arrangements are pending at Weerts/Hill & Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport.

Leland Benge
Services for Leland K. Benge, 76, of 2506 N. Howell St., Davenport, will be 1 p.m. today at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
Weerts/Hill & Fredericks Funeral Home, Davenport, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Benge died Friday at Mercy Hospital.
He retired as a superintendent of installation at Western Electric.
Mr. Benge married Almeda Carter in 1977 in Missouri.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of American Legion 26, Davenport, and Pioneers of America.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, LeAnna Martin, Mesa, Ariz.; two grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; sisters, Gertrude Simons, Winterset, Iowa, and Marian Hull, Bradenton, Fla.; and a brother, Donald, Racine, Wis.
