Page 16, Column 1Bunnell, Mason E., 83, Hollywood, FL. Born in Earlham IA, he moved to Miami in 1936. He and his family lived in a variety of locations around Florida during his 21 years with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
The family moved to Hollywood in 1957 in order for Mason to manage what became Hardee's Tire Company. Mason and his wife, Jean Macdonald Bunnell, enjoyed their Boulevard Heights home and their family together until her death December 9, 1981, shortly after their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mason will be deeply missed by his children. Rodger Reid Bunnell, Diane Jean Bunnell Lay and Susan Candace Bunnell, as well as their spouses and partners Mary Jo, Dave and Kurt, and by his grandchildren, Jim (wife Kassie), Russell, Jeremy, Kyle and Alexander and a great-granddaughter, April.
Calling hours will be at his home Friday 3pm-6pm, with a memorial service Saturday Call 983-8168 for additional information. Goodbye, Dad, we love you.
