Winterset—A funeral service for Floyd Bryan Cave, 99, of Winterset was held June 25, 1993 at Fisher Funeral Home at Adel with burial following at Panther Creek Cemetery near Adel. Mr. Cave died of a respiratory ailment on June 20 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center at Des Moines.

The son of William and Alice Cave, he was born near Adel on Aug. 27, 1893. Mr. Cave had lived in the Adel and Derby areas prior to moving to Winterset Care Center North, where he resided the last four years. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include one nephew, John Greenslade of Glensdale, Ariz.
