Orville Bonney Funeral Monday

Orville Glenn Bonney, 52, 214 South Lucas Ave. died Friday Jan. 7, 1966 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Dodge where he had been a patient for a short time.

Funeral services were held Monday at 10 a. m. at the Sandvig Funeral Home with the Rev. Bernard Olson pastor of the First Methodist church officiating. Burial was in the New Virginia Cemetery, New Virginia, Ia.

Mr. Bonney is survived by his wife, two daughters Mrs. Greg Stearns, Linda Anne Bonney, in the 9th grade, and James Lee Bonney in the 6th grade, also one grand child, two brothers Ralph of Milford, Verne of Maxwell, and one sister, Mrs. Francis Hinkle of Bellewood, Ill.

Mr. Bonney was born near Truro, March 8, 1913 and moved to Cedar Rapids in 1940 where he was married to Maxine Coulter on Aug. 18, 1943. They lived there until 1948 when they moved to New Virginia where Mr. Bonney was in the trucking business until 1952.

The family lived in Des Moines where he was employed by Ellsworth’s and they moved here in 1957. He was employed by Ellsworth’s until last June.
