Lyle G. Skromme, 63, of Akron, died February 15.
Born in Swea City, Iowa, he was an Akron resident most of his life, and had been employed as a cost estimator for B.F. Goodrich Co. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and had served with the Army in World War II.
He is survived by wife, Loretta; daughter, Janice of Akron; sisters, Katheryn Olson and Esther, both of California, Arlette Dell of British Colombia; brother, Kermit of California.
Funeral Mass Thursday, 11 a.m., from St. Mary's Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
