Earlham—A graveside service for Darwin James Corman, 56, of Earlham was held Jan. 14, 1986 at the Dexter Cemetery at Dexter. Mr. Corman died of cancer Jan. 12 at Veterans Administration Medical Center at Des Moines.

Born Jan. 1, 1930 at Des Moines, he was the son of Lester E. and Gladys M. Corman. He attended school at Woodward and graduated from Dallas Center High School. From 1951-1953, he served with the U.S. Navy in the Korean War and later worked as a heating and air conditioning installer.

Survivors include a son, Douglas Lee of Dexter, and a sister, Dorothy Quarnstrom of DeSoto.
