Opal Faye Sheldon, 84, died August 6, 2003. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 11 at Eastwood Open Bible Church, with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Opal was born March 16, 1919 in Lorimor, Iowa. She retired from Bolton Hay and was a member of Eastwood Open Bible Church and Open Bible Women's World Fellowship.

She is survived by her sisters, Agnes Hall and Violet Swartz; brother, Gaylord Kalar, all of Des Moines; and nephew, Charles J. Wheeldon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Sheldon.
