Services for Thomas F. Kelleher, 61, of 2319 Capitol Ave., will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St Peter's Catholic Church, with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Mr. Kelleher died Tuesday of a heart ailment at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Mr. Kelleher was a lifetime resident of Des Moines and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, the Dowling Club and a veteran of World War II. He was the retired owner of a Kwik Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Marvel; four sons, Gerald A. Moorehead of West Des Moines, Thomas F. Kelleher IV of Melcher, Terry L Moorehead of Georgetown, Texas, and Gary Kelleher of Merced, Calif.; five daughters, Tammy Kelleher at home, Lorrie Kelleher of Des Moines, Carol A. Papiani of Granger, Monica Kelleher of Altoona and Diana L Wiseman of Sheffield; three brothers, Michael Kelleher of Des Moines, Peter Kelleher of Houston, Texas, and John Kelleher of San Diego, Calif.; eight sisters, Mary Ellen Hatley and Therese Conner, both of Des Moines, Nancy Farmer of Cedar Falls, Agnes McLaughlin of Cumming, Rita Rooney of Maxwell, Sue Gallon of Hopkins, Gretchen Wilson of Aurora, Colo., and Elizabeth Schaefer of Chicago, II.; and 16 grandchildren.
Friends may call until 9 tonight at Grandview Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.
