Page 3, Column 4A funeral for Lizzie Baker, 99, of Denver, Colo. and formerly of DeSoto was held Dec. 30, 1985 at the DeSoto United Methodist Church. Mrs. Baker died of cardiac arrest on Dec. 26 at Denver.
Burial was in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Booneville.
She was born in Madison County and had lived at DeSoto until 1947 when she moved to Denver. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and the DeSoto United Methodist Church, and she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Joseph of Clearwater, Fla. And Robert and Curtis, both of Denver; seven daughters, Dorothy Marquardt of DeSoto, Mary Baker, Betty Baker and Sarah Parkinson, all of Denver, Lueta Baker of East Amherst, N.Y., Madylene Mathews of Fulton, Kan. And Susie Thomas of Newton; a brother, Martin Pritchard of Van Meter; three sisters, Carrie Douglas of Des Moines, Clare Carry of San Diego, Calif. and Sophia Clarke of Winterset; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
