Glenn Stephenson, 93, of Winterset, Iowa, died Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Azria Health Winterset in Winterset. Memorial services with military honors will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home Winterset Chapel with Rev. Dr. John Shaull officiating. Inurnment will be in the Peru Cemetery Peru, Iowa on a later date.

Glenn was born on July 7, 1926 at Madison County, Iowa to John and Blanche (Jennings) Stephenson. He was married on March 18, 1950 at Winterset to Betty Libby. He had been a lifetime resident of Madison County and a lifelong farmer. Glenn had belonged to the Farmers Coop, Peru Conservation Club, NFO, V.F.W. and the American Legion. He had also served in the US Army during WW II.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Betty Stephenson; daughter, Patty Rynearson; sons, Tony (Susan) Stephenson and Dan (Julie) Stephenson; twelve grandchildren, Reese (Sarah) Millsap, Lance (Lindsey) Millsap, Brandy (Matt) Decker, Brina (JR) Tolley, Chad Stephenson, Travis (Juanah) Stephenson, Josh (Heidi) Stephenson, Jesse (Mish) Rynearson, Cori (David) McKinzey, Stacey (Matt) Wedemyer, Luke (Jessica) Worrall, and Joe Worrall; and thirty-five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Blanche (Jennings) Stephenson; brother, John Stephenson; sisters, Mary Agan and Dorothy Henrichs; grandsons, Bradley Stephenson, Cole Millsap, and Dustin Millsap; and son-in-law, Jim Rynearson.

Family will greet friends 1 hour before the service. Memorials may be directed to his family for a future designation.
