B. F. Beeson was born in Darke county, Ohio, May 2nd, 1846, died at his home in Penn township, Madison county, April the 23d, 1910.
When five years old he moved with his parents to Dallas county, Iowa, where he lived until 1893, then he moved to Madison county and lived there until his death. He was united in marriage to Mary E. Dillon December the 24, 1863, to this union thirteen children were born, four died in infancy and his wife and 9 children are left to mourn the loss of a good husband and father.
The surviving children are W. N. Beeson of DeSoto, C. A. Beeson of Commerce, and H. S. Beeson of Earlham, J. M. Beeson and Mrs. L. S. Clyde of Adel and Ira, Bennie and Rodolph at home.
The funeral was held at the M.E. church in Earlham on Monday, April 25 and interment at Earlham cemetery.
