Bob E. Dresback, 66, passed away peacefully on January 26th, at home, and surrounded by his loved ones.
Bob worked for the DMACC Information Technology department and retired after 40 years of dedicated service to students and staff.

An avid Iowa Hawkeyes, Chicago Bears, and New York Yankee fan, sports played a big part in Bob's life. He enjoyed the game of basketball, officiating high school games for 15 years and serving as the scorekeeper for the Woodward-Granger girls basketball team as well. Bob was always active and participated in many sports. He loved being on the golf course, playing on the family and friends softball team, and participating in pool league. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his mother, Shirley Dresback; daughter, Marinee (Tim) Fulmer; son, Ryan (Kym) Dresback; siblings, Rick (Mindy) Dresback, Terri (Craig) Johnson, Barb (John) DeJoode, and Gary (Amy) Dresback; two grandchildren, Dylan and Olivia, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob is preceded in death by his father Deane Dresback and nephew Jeremy Johnson

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th from 1-4 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 9th at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at Memorial Services of Iowa, 4208 N. Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, Iowa. There will be a celebration of life party at The Fletcher, 1800 N. Ankeny Blvd, Ankeny, Iowa following the funeral beginning at 3:00 p.m. This event is casual and open to any and all who loved Bob.

Per Bob's request, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 'Bob E. Dresback Scholarship' at DMACC by going to: dmacc.edu/foundation/Pages/makeagift.aspx. (Please include the name of the scholarship in the notes on the website.)
