Lola E. Toner, 81, of Regency Care Center in Norwalk died of a heart ailment Monday at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ the King Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Toner was born in Madison County and had lived in Des Moines for 60 years. She was a homemaker and a beautician.

She is survived by two daughters, Rochelle Toner of Philadelphia and Colleen Bornmueller of Des Moines; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Lifeline of Iowa.
