Mrs. May E. Hoover Dies at Denver

Mrs. May Hoover died in Denver, Monday, Jan. 24th, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Frank Horton. She had been in poor health for a number of years and her death was caused by tuberculosis of the lungs.

She will be remembered here as Miss May Ellis, having received her education in Winterset, graduating from the high school in 1892, and later on teaching in the schools of Madison county. She has made several visits here since leaving about 10 years ago in search of health.

The deceased was about 38 years of age and is survived by her mother and a half brother, Charley Horton. Interment was made in Denver.
