Mrs. Walter Leslie Services on Monday
Lakota: Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Leslie were held from the Lakota Methodist church Monday afternoon with the Rev. Victor Vriesen of Ledyard in charge. Burial was made in Greenwood Township Cemetery at Bancroft.
Pallbearers at the services were: Elton Head, Emory Smith, Roland Smith, Carl Garrett, Harry Mussman and Lauren Thompson. The Garry Funeral Home, Bancroft, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Leslie died at her home in Lakota Thursday afternoon. She was born Mary Irene King at Truro, Iowa, April 27, 1896, and was united in marriage to Mr. Leslie at Windom, Minn., October 13, 1921.
She is survived by her husband, one son, three daughters, three sisters and one brother. The son is Wm. B. Mulverhill of Norfolk, Va. The daughters are: Mrs. Earl (Edna) Paulsen of Lakota, Mrs. Edwin (Lois) Schwartz of Swea City, Mrs. Wm. (Velma) Combs of Fairmont, Minn. The sisters are: Mrs. Jane Holmes of Des Moines, Mrs. Viola Christophel of Alpha, Minn., Mrs. Irma McNeeley of Santa Monica, Calif. The brother is Forrest King Of Truro, Iowa.
