Ken grew up attending District 22 country school, then attended St. John’s Lutheran school and graduated from Stanton High School in 1952. Ken enlisted in the Navy, where he proudly served our country. On July 11, 1958 Ken united in marriage with Mary Elizabeth Howland, and with this union was blessed with four children.

In 1964 Ken graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary School. Ken truly loved spreading the word of God through numerous churches around the country. After 55 years of being a pastor, he retired from that position. He then continued with numerous hobbies he had, along with one of his favorites, which was talking to people. Ken loved greeting, joking and communicating with people along with one of his greatest gifts of comforting those that are less fortunate and others in need. Ken will be truly missed by his friends and family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary; sons Martin (Joann) Belz, and Mark (Star) Belz; daughters Kathy (Chris) Sinn, and Christine (Tim) Wirts; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren, plus 2 more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Alma; and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family to be disbursed at a later date for students going into the world of ministry.
