Winterset, IowaKathy Breece, 59, of Peru, died Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Greater Regional Hospice House in Creston surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2019 at Caldwell Parrish Winterset Chapel, with family present to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 7, at the funeral home with burial to follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery, Madison County. Kathy Ann was born March 31, 1960 in Aurora, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Hudson) Nall. She was married to Joseph Breece on July 20, 1978 in Des Moines, Iowa.
Kathy was a resident of Peru since 1987 after moving from St. Charles. She worked for Genesis Development as a customer support specialist for nearly twenty years. She enjoyed the outdoors - fishing, camping and horseback riding. She also liked swimming, roller skating, crocheting, and playing card games and board games. She loved Christmastime and enjoyed handing out candy at Halloween. Kathy especially loved spending time with her family and will be remembered as always there to talk to.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Breece of Peru; daughter, Jamie Breece (Curtis White) of Van Meter; son, Chris Breece of Bridgewater; brother, Rob Nall of Lineville; and five grandchildren, Dakota Holtry, Stormy Breece, Lacey Breece, Denver Breece, and Amber Breece.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
