Robert T. Addy; Cherokee Resident

Robert T. Addy, 64, of 421 W. Cherry St., Cherokee, died Sunday evening at his home of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Addy had lived in Cherokee for 10 years.

He was born June 14, 1914, in Madison County, Iowa, to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Addy. On Sept. 23, 1940, he married Ella Christ in Des Moines. Mr. Addy had farmed near Lakota, Iowa.

Survivors include sons, Thomas, Studio City, Calif., and Eldean, Iowa City; a daughter, Mrs. R. V. (Roberta) Follis, Nashville, Tenn.; two grandchildren; brothers Floyd, Chino, Calif., and Leroy, Des Moines, and sisters, Mrs. Ray (Pauline) Smith and Laura Travis, both of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Greenwood Funeral Home, Cherokee. The Rev. Delmar Carlson will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Cherokee.
