Kimberly Sue Bowers, 59 of Earlham passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday, November 15th at the Johnson Family Funeral Home in Earlham. Floral and plant memorials may be sent to Johnson Family Funeral Home, 140 NW 2nd St., Earlham, IA 50072. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Kimberly Bowers Memorial Fund.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Joseph of Earlham; son, Joseph of Earlham; daughter Amanda (Phil) Renze of Omaha; grandsons, Drew and Jarett; siblings: Debbie Caikoski, Terry Bauman, Randy Bauman and Scott Bauman.

Kimberly was born February 8, 1960 to Donald and Jeanne Baumann in Des Moines, Iowa. She grew up in Lacona and Melcher-Dallas, Iowa. She attended school at Melcher-Dallas and graduated from Melcher-Dallas High School with the class of 1978. Kimberly was united in marriage to Joseph Bowers on October 8, 1980 in Melcher-Dallas. To this union two children were born, Joseph and Amanda. The family made their home in Melcher-Dallas, before later moving to Piedmont, Missouri, Irvington, Alabama and lastly settling in Earlham.

She worked as a teacher’s aide, decorated cakes and worked a promotional job. She loved cooking, baking and was a very talented cake decorator. Kimberly also enjoyed gardening and tending to flowers, most of all she treasured time spent with her family and grandchildren.

She is proceeded in death by her parents.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Joseph of Earlham; son, Joseph of Earlham; daughter Amanda (Phil) Renze of Omaha; grandsons, Drew and Jarett; siblings: Debbie Caikoski, Terry Bauman, Randy Bauman and Scott Bauman.
