Ralph Bonney
April 3, 1918 – Jan. 19, 1992Services for Ralph Bonney, 73, Milford, were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, 1922 at Turner Funeral Home, Milford. Peter Hart officiated.
Wynette Moore was organist and Wendell Williams sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “How Great Thou Art”.
Honorary pallbearers were Max Hill, Merv Miller, Brian Jones, Bill Woltz and Clifford Paul Shane. Pallbearers were Stan Carlson, Tom Crane, Jerry Clark, Gene Hinkel, Larry Clark and Fred Schmidt.
Mr. Bonney died Sunday, Jan. 19, 1992 at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Spirit Lake after a brief Illness.
He was born April 3, 1918, Truro, to James and Mary Ellen (Forman) Bonney. He graduated from high school at New Virginia, and furthered his education with four years of study in clock and watch repair.
Ralph had been a jeweler in the Milford community for over 30 years specializing in watch and clock repair. He took special pride in his antique cars and loved to socialize with his friends at the area coffee shops.
Survivors include his children, Darla K. Bonney of Minneapolis, MN, Don Bonney of Spencer, and Judy K. Nauman of Danville, CA; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.
Burial was in the Milford Cemetery, Milford. Turner Funeral Home, Milford, was in charge of arrangements.
