Word has been received telling of the death of Boyd Trindle at his home in Seattle, Washington, Friday, January 11th. Mr. Trindle suffered a stroke on November 1st and has been ill ever since. He suffered another stroke in December and another shortly before his death.
Mr. Trindle was a former resident of this vicinity. He married Miss Vina Wright and in their early married life moved to North Dakota where they lived several years, but have been in Seattle, for some time.
One daughter preceded her father in death. Mr. Trindle was 63 years old.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Lucille of Oakes, North Dakota and Mauretta of Missouri, two sons Melvin of Salem, Oregon and Boyd Jr., of Seattle and three brothers, Ira Trindle of Winterset, Robert of Seattle, Washington and Sanford E. Trindle of Van Meter.
Note: Boyd Trindle was on the 1880 census in Jefferson township, Madison county, Iowa, and was married in Madison County, Iowa.
