Ronald Dean Rankin, 57, passed away Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at Taylor House Hospice with family by his side. A casual service will be held Saturday, March 14th at Radiant Church located on the corner of E. 26th St. & Maple St., from 4 to 6 p.m.

Ronald was born September 1st, 1957 in Des Moines to Murray and Betty Rankin. He attended East High School and served in the National Guard.

Ron loved to listen to the oldies on KIOA and riding his bicycle. He will be remembered the most for his infectious smile and his ability to make others laugh.

He is survived by a large family and many friends.

The family has respectfully requested that any memorial contributions be made to Taylor House Hospice.
