Kathryn Danforth Dies in Florida

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Kathryn Smith Danforth at her home in Key Largo, Florida.

Mrs. Danforth, the widow of the late Jay Danforth, was born in Winterset, the daughter of Dr. Jessie Stauffer Smith and Cris Smith. She was 80 years old. She was born and raised here, living here after their marriage.

Mrs. Danforth is survived by a daughter, Jane, and a son, Chad. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters, Mrs. DeWitt Bass, Mrs. E. D. Hartley, Sr., and a brother Nelson Smith.
