Funeral Services Sunday At Huffman Funeral Home
Funeral services for Peter Zuidhof of Crystal Lake, Iowa, who died Thursday afternoon at Iowa City after a few weeks' Illness, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Huffman Funeral Home. The Rev. William R. Yingling, minister of the First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Mrs. R. S. Hyatt and Mrs. William R. Yingling will sing three hymns, "Lead Kindly Light," "Safe In the Arms of Jesus" and "Nearer My God to Thee," accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Carson Summers.
Burial will be in the Carroll Cemetery.
Funeral services are being held at Crystal Lake this afternoon, following which the body will be brought to the Huffman Funeral Home here this evening. It will rest at the funeral home until the time of the final rites.
Mr. Zuidhof, who was 64 years old, was a native of Holland, where he was born March 17, 1874. He was married at Grinnell, Iowa, in November, 1918, to Miss Jane Schreiber, a sister of Mrs. George P. Maze of Carroll, who passed away March 10, 1936.
Mr. Zuidhof had lived at Crystal Lake for about ten years, previous to which he had resided near Grinnell and also near Des Moines.
He had re-married since the death of his first wife, and his widow survives him.
