Mrs. J. Miner's Mother Succumbs At Coon Rapids

Coon Rapids — Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Saturday afternoon at the family home for Mrs. A. V. Vaughn, 69, who died at her home Monday evening after being in declining health for some time. The Rev. Stanley L. Hunt will officiate.

Mrs. Vaughn came to Carroll county with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schreiber, when only one year old. She married A. V. Vaughn Feb. 28, 1894.

Survivors include her husband, four sons, Walter and Waite of Rockford, Ill., Lyle of Des Moines, and Gilbert of Coon Rapids; five daughters, Mrs. Eunice Clennon of Austin, Minn., Mrs. Fred Shirbroun (Faye) of Coon Rapids. Mrs. John L. Miner (Laura) of Imperial, Calif., recently of Carroll, Mrs. Leon Kious (Rose) of Oakland, Calif., and Mrs. Charles Swain (June) of Manhattan, Nev. Two children preceded her in death.
